Alternate Directors


Alternate Directors are those who step into the role of Director when the principal Director of that company is unable to be present at a Board meeting. The following individuals provide strong support on our Board.

General Manager Marketing, Scott Burton has 20 years’ experience in the global wine industry, having worked for – and consulted to – some of the world’s largest wine companies, retailers and generic marketing associations. WSET certified, Burton joined the Australian Vintage team as head of marketing in 2011.

Sally is an accomplished senior leader with over 20 years experience in blue chip multi-national organisations in strategy, consumer marketing, innovation, digital, media and sales. Sally has worked in top tier companies on globally iconic brands such as Smirnoff Vodka, Guinness, Coca Cola and Campari.

 


Jennifer Collins

Company Title: Global Marketing Activation Director

Jennifer has nearly a decade’s experience in the drink industry, having joined Pernod Ricard in 2010 after a successful 15 year career in the pharmaceutical industry. Jennifer has leadership experience in the areas of marketing, sales, strategy and innovation. She currently holds the role of Global Marketing Activation Director with Pernod Ricard Winemakers, and is the current Chair of Women in Drinks.

Paul has been involved in the Liquor and FMCG Industry for more than 30 years. Prior to joining ILG as Chief Executive Officer, Paul spent 14 years with Coopers Premium Beverages, where he held two key positions; NSW/ACT State Manager in 2003 and National Sales Manager in 2005.

A successful founding member of the Premium Beverages business in 2003, Mark assumed the role of General Manager – Sales and Marketing with the company. Previous sales and marketing experience in the food and beverage industry includes time with Fosters Group, Bonlac Foods and Simplot.

 


John Grimes

John has been part of the wine industry since 1992, having worked at BRL Hardy, Kingston Estate Wines and De Bortoli Wines. He is currently the state manager at Samuel Smith & Son, and brings his extensive sales experience with the industry to the role.

Vince's experience in the industry is extensive, commencing in 1975 through to 1991. He managed his family's 3 liquor stores before moving on to become a Sales Representative for Cascade Brewery. He then spent 11 years at Carlton & United Breweries, before moving on to Liquor Marketing Group for two years. He then took on the Victorian & Tasmanian State Managers role at De Bortoli Wines.

As a sales professional, Anthony has moved from National Account Manager – Woolworths, which he commenced in 2011 to his current position of National Business Manager – Woolworths.

Brad holds the role of National Sales Manager for Proximo Australia. Brad has over 20 years experience in the liquor industry, having worked as a National Sales Manager for island2island Beverages Company and as Sales Director for Bacardi Martini Australia.

Company Title: Off Trade and E-Retail Channel Manager

Sharon is the Off Trade and E-Retail Channel Manager at Moët Hennessy, having been appointed to the role in 2014. Sharon has been in the drinks industry for over 15 years both in Australia and the UK and has held National Sales roles at a number of global drinks businesses including William Grant & Sons, Bacardi Martini and Pernod Ricard.

Prior to stepping into the role of sales director, Andrew had been senior brand manager of Jack Daniel’s. He also had significant sales and customer management experience with Brown-Forman as state manager in WA, VIC and NSW.

Paul Morris joined Bacardi in 2001, and is currently the Logistics & Supply Director for Bacardi-Martini Australia.  With 35 years of experience in Operations, he has worked in Liquor, Telecommunications and FMCG.

Mark is the National Sales Director for Lion Australia, having been appointed to the role in 2011. During Mark’s time at Lion he has held several different regional sales roles in both Adelaide and Brisbane, before he relocated to Sydney in 2008 to head up the Sales function. Prior to Lion Mark spent eight years with Coca Cola Amatil in their soft drink business and eight years with Price Waterhouse in Sydney and London. It was the latter where he gained his love of the amber ale!

Derek has spent many years working in the beverage industry, with roles at Southcorp wines and Foster’s Group. In 2008, he took on the role of General Manager Sales Australia at Taylors Wines.

Bill was also runner up for the "CIO of the year - Retail" award (2016), for work on Agricultural JIT Supply Chain integration.
