Brown-Forman Australia announces new Managing Director



Brown-Forman has appointed Eveline Albarracin as Managing Director, Australia, New Zealand, Pacific Islands. (ANZPI).

She will begin in the role on January 15, 2020, succeeding Marc Satterthwaite, who recently retired.

“Eveline’s experience in building brands and leading strategic projects equips her well to guide this important market,” said Marshall Farrer, Brown-Forman, Senior Vice President, Global Travel Retail and Developed APAC.

“We believe Eveline will bring an outstanding set of leadership skills, valuable and diverse experiences, and a difference-making approach to our critically important ANZPI business.”

Brown-Forman said Albarracin will manage and direct the organization in ANZPI to achieve optimum profitability and sales targets by responsibly building the company's brands within the markets.

She will lead strategic projects to grow the business through portfolio, pricing, route-to-market, resource allocation, and disciplined decision making.

Albarracin will serve on and be an active member of the Global Travel Retail & Developed APAC Regional Leadership Team, providing leadership to brand building strategies and partnership engagement. She will be based in Sydney.

Albarracin brings more than 20 years of experience in healthcare and consumer goods to this multifaceted role. She joins Brown-Forman from Galderma (Nestlé Skin Health) where she most recently served as Managing Director for Australia & New Zealand and prior to that served as the Business Unit Head for Prescription. Prior to Galderma, Eveline worked for Actavis (now Allergan) and Valeant Pharmaceuticals where she held various leadership roles across both sales and marketing. 

Albarracin earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Physiology and Pharmacology from the University of Queensland and completed advanced finance and business management studies at the University of Queensland and the Australian Institute of Management in Sydney.
