BevChain expands into South East Asia

Linfox has formed a logistics joint venture with Boon Rawd Brewery, Thailand’s number one brewery and maker of Singha beer.

The company will provide road transportation and warehousing services across Asia through BevChain Logistics.

The partnership will see BevChain establish a presence in Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar and Vietnam, operating under the name BevChain Logistics.

“BevChain has been in the Australian and New Zealand market since 2006 as a specialist in the warehousing and distribution of beverages,” says Linfox International Group CEO Greg Thomas.

"We have been planning to grow beyond the ANZ market, and this joint venture is a part of our international growth strategy,” said Thomas.

Boon Rawd Brewery also has a vision to dominate logistics networks in Thailand and across the region.

“To partner with Boon Rawd, we will build a strong and complete logistics network for regional expansion over the next three years. We will do this by combining Boon Rawd’s 85-year strength in the business, with a network covering traditional and modern trade and BevChain Logistics’ expertise in warehousing and distribution,” he said.

“Our customers will benefit from the best-in-class service and flexible solutions to match with their demands.”

BevChain Logistics in Thailand will offer services to Boon Rawd Brewery, other beverage sectors and compatible small-to-medium FMCG business.

BevChain is a subsidiary company of Linfox, with full ownership acquired in 2017. It is also a Corporate Partner of The Drinks Association.
